Southern Home Wood Deck has taken a shabby looking deck and used Pressure Works' Heartwood Stain/Sealant, a very pretty finish to refinish a deck in Richmond's "Raintree" subdivision.
Current stains and water-sealants are so very difficult for the homeowner to make work properly. They sell a lot of product at the big box stores, but the truth is that these products do not work like non-VOC products. They require multiple coats to make work properly, and the new chemical design of the products make them not stain like stains of yesteryear.
